
About the project
Fealue Pusher is an eco-friendly public art installation that was exhibited at the 2023 London Design Festival, where it received the “Award for Excellence in Innovation.” The work combines digital virtual imagery with mechanical interaction, allowing viewers to directly participate in the economic choices surrounding a single feather from a human perspective.
Set within the context of sustainability and environmental protection, Fealue Pusher uses an interactive game format to guide viewers through a narrative experience of “the life of a feather.” By selecting a feather and inserting it into the machine, then pressing the start button, a virtual factory begins to operate. The feather may become part of a badminton shuttlecock or be processed into protein powder; viewers will directly participate and witness the shuttlecock dropping from the installation or the protein powder being sprayed from the machine.
